With 26 years development Honpe Prototyping has set up three separated manufacturing workshops to make prototypes for different purposes and for different industries, these are metal parts processing workshop, consumer electronic model manufacturing workshop and Home appliances prototyping workshop, each workshop runs individually and confidentially. The aim is to process every task quickly and efficiently to achieve shorter lead time. 

At present, the home appliance prototyping workshop has 99 sets CNC machining centers and more than 200 well trained technicians. We offer one stop solution from innovative design and engineering to prototyping, small volume trial production, and mass production by plastic injection molding. Specialize in serving home appliance industry, automotive industry, medical industry, robotic industry and aerospace industry and etc.

To better serve our clients and complete the prototypes, CNC machines with large machining stroke are very necessary. In the workshop the maximum machining stroke (X*Y*Z) (mm) to process plastic parts is 2000*1500*500, tolerance precision reaches ±0.01mm, this is very critical when making home appliances models like television, refrigerator, washing machine, and air conditioner and etc.

* CNC Machining

Precision CNC machining for custom plastic parts by using advanced three axis and five axis machines. Services include milling and turning with tight tolerances and high standards.

* Transparent Parts Prototyping

Honpe Prototyping is the expert in making optical transparent prototypes and highly clear parts with high standard quality. No matter for lamp lenses, lighting shields, screens, bottles and etc. We make sure optical excellence and aesthetics for each of the projects. 

Processing methods to achieve high glossy clear effect.

Fine polishing, by sanding part’s surface with different grip size sand papers over and over until the part become transparent totally without any impurities. Normally for PMMA material.  

Vapor polishing, by heating the chemical liquid in a container to make the parts turn into clear, the method is mainly applied for PC material. 

* Vacuum Casting

The vacuum casting process generates detailed urethane casting parts by using silicone molds. It is suitable for rapid prototyping and low volume production at a favorable price, also with shorter lead time. 

* Rapid Injection Tooling

Plastic injection tooling solution is suitable for making prototypes and short run production. Honpe Prototyping has a professional team for tooling projects, our engineers will provide detailed DFM for each part, offer tooling suggestions and improvement advice, even possible risks during production process. Every step is to make sure the tools project process smoothly and effectively, until our customers get what they want. 

Facilities for surface treatment

The mock up especially appearance models for home appliances will always need various surface treatments. Honpe Prototyping has complete in house facilities to meet different surface finishing requirements. Honpe Prototyping has its own silk screen printing workshop, electroplating workshop, laser etching workshop, color matching & painting workshop, optical coating workshop, and leather & fabric processing workshop and etc.
